Flow/Pressure Controllers
To cut energy costs controlling pressure and reducing leakage are the key elements to consider.
However, to focus on fixing leaks without consideration for pressure generally results in leaks occurring in other parts of the system and a continual ongoing battle. Following the repair of a leak the pressure in the localised area is raised which generally creates a leak somewhere else.
Pressure controllers are ideal at maintaining the minimum desired system pressure to within a very fine control band +/- 0.04 barg and eliminates over pressurisation.
When combined with an appropriately sized receiver the system acts as a dam which maintains constant system pressure and prevents additional compressors starting when they are not really required.
