Point of Use
Point of use equipment provides the easiest opportunity within the compressed air distribution system to reduce compressed air costs. In our experience it is an area where significant energy savings can be made and which is often completely over looked.
Air Energy Management's energy audits commence at the production equipment, to reduce air usage, followed by a detailed examination of the point at which air is supplied to the production machines. Supply pressure, air quality and safety are the main considerations.
The higher the supply pressure the more production machines leak. Poor air quality can increase product wastage and maintenance costs. Health & safety considerations are exceptionally important in terms of pressure systems legislation. Air quality requirements have to be identified and maintained for breathing air and to meet food industry legislation.
